Need An Inexpensive Escape?

Reading is a great inexpensive escape.  I have to read a little bit every day - I always have a book nearby.  Writing is whole other monster.  Developing plots and characters takes on another dimension.  I am in control of thoughts and actions.  I can make the characters good, I can make them bad, I can create a scene that lifts you up, makes you laugh, frightens you, worries you, angers you, or brings you down.  I have a whole world in my hands crafted solely from my own mind.  Now that is scary!  But I love it and need to do a lot more of it.  The book I am working on now has been renting space in my head for far too long.  It's time to start the eviction process!
