Wow! They actually put this in a manual? It was a different era for sure. But I have to admit that it makes sense. Most of us now put ourselves together and rush out the door to an awaiting job or errands, etc. However, I have noticed that there are women today who don't care much about how they look when they walk out the front door. I was always taught the opposite - to care about my appearance and to dress for the occasion. Maybe a trip to Walmart doesn't warrant putting on formal attire, but it shouldn't be made wearing pajamas and slippers and greasy hair - or worse (I've seen the e-mails).
We could all learn something by taking this advice to heart. Take care to look nice and keep your home clean - you never know who might stop by to visit!
