Nope, it's not even close to Friday.  Look at the bright side, it leaves you four more days of pre-4th of July celebrations!  Fireworks away (just not anywhere near my house - my dogs go crazy)!  Thank you!

Come On People, Work With Me...

Like this morning when I'm 15 minutes away from the alarm going off and my husband calls to tell me he left his work keys on the counter...and could I bring them to him?  Ahhhhh...I was just dreaming (never mind)...I climbed out of bed, got dressed, threw on a ball cap, put the dogs in the car and off we drove to the hospital to deliver his keys.  Now my script for the day has been compromised.  Story of my life.  Happy Monday!

Now, picture a 10-pound Chihuahua and his miniature brother (by a different mother) sitting on the furniture doing the same thing.  This is our day!  They are very good at stranger - danger notification.  If you need an alarm system, I am considering renting them out!

Ahhhh...the Beach

We are heading to the beach today with my son and his family.  We live just shy of a hour's drive away from the Atlantic ocean and a couple hour's drive from the Gulf and hardly ever make it to either.  It's a shame, really.  We love the water and it's one of the reasons we chose to move to Florida.  Get ready sand...our toes have a lot of making up to do!  And then...we dine on fresh seafood for lunch!  What a treat!  I hope that you enjoy your weekend.

The Best Antidepressant

Trust me, after Tampa Bay lost the Stanley Cup to Chicago last night, I needed my pups.  Their happy wagging tails get their whole bodies moving.  When they share their love, I melt.  They always know when I'm having a bad day or am not feeling well and stick close to their mama.  Thank you God for these little miracles of love. (Just look at that face!)
