Bottoms Up
I plan to start the day in my PJ's with a hot cup of peppermint tea and the DVR remote. Ahh, a little well deserved down time. Wishing you the same. I hope that you have an awesome weekend. See you on the flip side.

Who Are You?
I would be Samantha Kofer in Gray Mountain (by John Grisham). Mom, I'll let you off the hook on this one because we're both reading this book for book club! It's a good one.

Winter Beauty
God's beauty is truly at work here. I actually took a few moments of peaceful relaxation to truly enjoy this picture (and for a split-second, missed the beauty of Kansas in the winter). That thought is over now!

Yup, admit it - these are both cute and healthy. Mom, we may have to whip these together the next time the Wy-ster comes to visit! He would love eating bugs!

Math Made Easy
I'm not sure that I can use sports analogies in all my mathematical conversions but give me a coupon discount or a tip percentage to tally and I'm right there with you!

Be Who You Are
Amen Sisters (and Brothers)! Hold your head high, know Jesus holds you in his hands and loves you beyond reason. You are forgiven and beautiful in his eyes. Let that be enough.

Truly Blessed
(And if you can put something on other than your pajamas for the first time in two days, consider yourself truly blessed!) I'm feeling much better today. By Monday, I'll be raring to go!

Good Morning
Good morning. I apologize for not posting yesterday. I came home from work Wednesday evening not feeling well. It seems the crud that has been floating from person to person in the work space for the past six weeks finally got hold of me and I spent yesterday in bed, sleeping all day. As I get older, I wish that folks who are sick, stay home as to not infect everyone else. My body doesn't seem to fight off illness as well as it did when I was younger. In fact, I know the point in which my body needs to let go and lay low for a few days in order to fight it off. So I'm on day two of lying low. I am feeling a little better but am not yet ready to push myself yet again to the brink. If you are not feeling well, remember: let go and lay low. It will not only help you but everyone around you as well. We are only as good as our health. If our health is poor, there is no way we can give our best.

Remember When...
Seriously, what were we thinking?
Youth is a state of denial.
What we've seen and endured can't be unseen,
no matter how many times we wash our eyes out!

Protein-Packed Peanut Butter Cups
Protein-Packed Peanut
Butter Cups
(Recipe By Stacy Makes
Cents)
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. melted extra virgin coconut oil
(extra virgin is a MUST–unless you hate the taste of coconut!)
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
stevia extract to taste
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 scoop protein powder
Method:
Stir everything up and pour into
5-6 silicon cupcake liners (or 5-6 full-sized muffin tins). Place in the
freezer for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
Note: These do melt quickly, so
it’s best to keep them in the freezer when you’re not eating them.

I can not even begin to share with you the blessings God has brought me throughout my 50 years on this earth, even when I least deserved them. So today (and every day), I will smile and be grateful.

Sunshine
Spent the day at the beach with my son and his family who are visiting from Kansas. We are all relaxing now as we view the Kansas forecast...SNOW is falling. They are smiling. And tomorrow, we deliver them to Disney World for a few days of kid play and relaxation. We had a great time with you this trip and we hope you have a great time at Mickey World! Love you all.
